If one has a poor credit history and, as a result, his requests will be turned down when applying for loans or finance, hence one should repair credit history. Now there lays a question of how to repair the credit history? There is an easy way as just to contact the credit reference agency. To repair credit history one should first obtain the copy of the credit file from the agency and should uncover the sources of the problems such as broken credit agreement or county court judgment where the latter can never be erased where the only solution is to pay them off and declaring paid.

 A ‘certificate of satisfaction’   is to be obtained. In order to repair credit history “Notice of Correction” can be added to the credit file. There may be a problem that a debt - ridden family member may share the same residence and surname which can be overcome by ‘Disassociation’ note added to the credit file.

To repair credit history the bankruptcies should be avoided, bills should be paid in time, the number of credit cards can be reduced, and the credit limits on the accounts should be lowered. The credit card can be re-established if a family member or friend signs on small loan or credit card. The secured credit card should be obtained to help reestablish the credit. There should be a designated amount of money in an account that will be sufficient to cover up the charges. Once the following are done one can repair credit history.
